Sexual health by post
Many of our essential services are now available by post so you can get the support and help you need without leaving the house.
These services are all free and available to people who live in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire.
Anything we post will be in plain packaging with no reference at all to sexual health.
- Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) testing and treatment
You can order a postal testing kit which provides full screening for STIs.
- Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
PrEP is a pill for HIV negative people, to stop them catching HIV. You can book appointments for PrEP from your online account
Once you’ve gone through the necessary checks and started taking PrEP, we can continue to provide it as needed.
- Condoms
Free condoms by post can be ordered from: https://www.tht.org.uk/our-services/phone-and-post/order-free-condoms-post/bnssg-condoms. In order to be eligible, you must define as one of the following:
- a man who has sex with men
- trans or non-binary
- someone who has sex for money
- of Black, Asian or ethnically minoritised heritage
Young people under 20: C-Card users can temporarily request condoms by post by phoning the Brook Clinic on 0117 342 6900 .
- Contraceptive pills
Contraceptive pills are available by post. Please call 0117 342 6900 to make an appointment to speak to a health professional.
- Pregnancy options
If you are pregnant and would like to talk to us about how you’re feeling, and about your pregnancy options, you can call the Unity Central Booking Line to make an appointment on 0345 872 5435.
After a telephone consultation with a health professional, if you decide this is the right option for you, you may be able to have an early medical abortion at home. We can post medication for this and support you with everything you might need.
